"We work in the dark -we do what can -we give what we have.
Our doubt is our passion and our passion is our task.
The rest is the madness of art."

Artistic Faux is not a mere painting or faux technique, but a special artistic finish applied by
a trained professional artist. Having a true artisan do the work, can bring together many
different elements to a room and tie them together to form flowing unity within. The detail of
the 'kitchen cabinet' shows us the usage of antiquing (to make items look old). The color
and the faux texture, beautifully replicates the look and feel of the French style flooring, and
therefore these elements are now harmonized.
Even with an ordinary architectural element (such as a bannister) can provide us a conduit for design and
'harmony' with the right artistic treatments. The color and technique used, joins together the upper and
lower floors to main floor kitchen area, while allowing for the 'Old World' French charm to shine and flow
throughout the home.
The most minute details that are often over looked by the masses can be deciding factors for judges
when deciding award winners. These few samples are to illustrate the endless ways of utilizing the talents
of a professional artist.
Trompe L'oeil, is the French phrase meaning:
"to deceive the eye".
Trompe L'oeil has been
around for centuries and is often used to
customize and expand the apparent visual
dimensions of a room.
Trompe L'oeil creates the
illusion of a three dimensional scene or object(s)
on a flat surface. Your imagination is the only
limitation to this often rewarding and delightful art
technique.
